Financing Your Property in the UK

Prices of property that have skyrocketed in the UK over the past couple of years have slowed down this year due to the credit crunch hitting the banking sector and the general uncertainty in the market.
Should you be thinking about buying a property in the UK in the present situation, be aware of the fact that mortgages are not as easily accessible as they were two years ago. Think about alternative possibilities, such as financing your property in the UK by purchasing property abroad and selling it with profit at a later stage (Slovakia offers a 17 % p.a. growth prediction) or going for cheaper properties available through property auctions. These might be run-down, however if you are not put off by a little bit of work, they offer a high return for the money and time invested.
Golden advice – talk to a well established mortgage broker, who might be tougher on rules, rather than the one who offers to bend rules, get you larger credit and might eventually cause you personal bankruptcy.
