Daring words indeed! What I am most interested in is quality, and that really cannot be „camouflaged“, but let’s take it step by step. As I have already said, I love quality and professionalism. I like people who are artists of their trade and chefs who can tantalise your taste buds and make you appreciate their culinary art. All of this is true of the Camouflage Restaurant and more. The restaurant is the city’s heart. It can be found right in the centre of Bratislava and is difficult to miss. In addition to culinary adventures, the beautiful Erdödy palace also hides the unexplained. Count Erdödy was rather ahead of his time. He loved music and art and he apparently organised legendary parties which included exciting culinary experiences. Jarko Židek, the chef at Camouflage, continues in this tradition. His fruits of the sea will transport you to the shores of your favourite holiday destinations. And then there are other of his dishes such as meat or pasta and risotto specialities. Perhaps Count Erdödy might occasionally honour your party with a visit in order to savour Židek’s multiplicity of flavours with you.
It is said that strange shadows flit around the Camouflage at times and that their shape is reminiscent of the Count, but Jarko Židek is also a lord of his trade. If you believe in a previous life, is it possible that chef Židek could be the reincarnation of Count Erdödy? In any case, trust me and do not camouflage your visit to this unique Bratislavan or, more accurately, Slovak restaurant in any way. Perhaps you will uncover more mysteries of the Erdödy palace or the Camouflage restaurant.
Yours sincerely, Justin Topolský
